A payment link is a link to a secure payment page where your customer pays a fixed amount, without a webshop or invoice in advance. In Slimbot you create such a link with an amount and a description, send it directly in the WhatsApp conversation with the customer, and see in one overview which links are paid, open or expired.

A payment link is a web address that leads to a payment page for one specific amount. The customer clicks, chooses their payment method and pays. You don't need a webshop and the customer doesn't need to type in an account number. Payment links are widely used for deposits, one-off jobs, reservations, outstanding invoices and orders via WhatsApp.
The difference with a Tikkie or a payment request from your banking app: a business payment link belongs to your company, has a clear description and you can track per link whether payment has been made.
Creating a payment link takes a few steps:
Much customer contact already happens via WhatsApp: the customer asks for a price, you agree the work, and then payment is due. By sending the payment link in the same conversation, the payment sits exactly where the appointment was made. The customer pays from their phone with a few taps, and you don't have to chase a bank transfer.
A payment link is for one-off payments, not for subscriptions or direct debits. The link is not automatically linked to an invoice or customer file in Slimbot; therefore include an invoice number or customer name in the description. Sending is via WhatsApp or by copying the link itself; there is no separate send button for e-mail.
