What is OAuth?
OAuth 2.0 lets other apps connect securely to Slimbot without you having to share your password anywhere. You give an integration only exactly the access that is needed, and revoke it just as easily. That is the modern, secure standard for connecting software together.
How does it work?
- You choose the app you want to connect, for example your calendar or accounting software.
- You log in once and grant permission for the requested access.
- Slimbot creates a secure, temporary key — no password is shared.
- In the overview you see all integrations and revoke them with one click.
