What is Model Routing?
Model routing automatically directs each question to the model that suits it best. Simple questions go to a fast, economical model and complex questions to a more powerful model. So you always get the right balance between speed, quality and cost without having to think about it yourself.
How does it work?
- Turn on model routing in your Slimbot environment.
- Indicate which models may be deployed for which type of questions.
- Let the platform automatically choose the best model for each question.
- Review afterwards which choices were made and adjust where needed.
